Ages 11-18 by audition WHEN: Audition videos due by August 15 (details at checkout) Classes: Thursdays Sep 3-Oct 22 7:00-8:15 pm WHERE: Kocen Arts Center 22 Duke St. Prince Frederick, MD 20678 COST: $250 WHAT:Welcome to Music Theatre Ensemble Bootcamp, where students will build the skills needed to perform confidently on stage as part of a musical theatre team! Throughout this course, students will strengthen their ability to work collaboratively while developing trust, communication, and responsibility within an ensemble setting. Participants will improve their music literacy by learning strategies to read and interpret sheet music with greater accuracy. Students will also explore healthy vocal techniques that support proper breathing, tone production, diction, and vocal endurance. A major focus of the course will be blending voices together to create a balanced and expressive ensemble sound. In addition to singing, students will learn choreography and movement techniques that enhance stage presence and storytelling through dance. Sign up to audition! |
